The Rossetti Brothers

The Rossetti Brothers, Angelo and Ettore, are certified IPTPA pickleball teaching professional instructors as well as USPTA pickleball and tennis Elite teaching professionals for more than 30 years. The brothers are also lifetime USTA members and USA Pickleball members. Angelo is a PPR certified pickleball teaching professional, and PTR tennis teaching professional. Angelo founded Rossetti Brothers Pickleball. Their current and past clients include Shoreline Pickleball, the Tennis & Fitness Center of Rocky Hill, the Town of Wallingford and the Town of Hamden. Angelo is a lifelong Hamden resident, where they grew up and played high school tennis before playing D1 at UCONN. Ettore serves as Lead Advisor of Digital, Marketing Partnerships & Innovation at Save the Children. Ettore resides in Shelton, CT where he is volunteer assistant girls tennis coach at Shelton High School. The brothers received Save the Children’s Stream Team Humanitarian award in 2020 for raising more than $100,000 for the organization through their Rally for Charity events. Angelo A. Rossetti

Angelo coaches pickleball indoors and outdoors for his company Rossetti Brothers Pickleball, his most recent and largest client is Shoreline Pickleball. He coaches and consults with clubs and pickleball athletes in New England and throughout the US. His focus in developing mental skills of players on and off the court. Angelo coaches with professional pickleball players as well as being an agent in that regard. He consults with clubs to help them open, hire staff and develop and implement pickleball programming for juniors and adults alike. He previously served as the Director of Racquet Sports at The Tennis & Fitness Center of Rocky Hill for four years and at Weston Racquet Club, An Ivan Lendl Tennis Center, for over 10 years. He is a USPTA P1/Elite, PTR, MTM, USTA High Performance & Mental Skills and IPTPA (pickleball) certified teaching professional, being first certified in 1992. Angelo, NLP and Mindfulness certified, studied to be a Dale Carnegie instructor, as he wanted to learn and teach the best ways to learn! He was elected in 2017 as one of the youngest Presidents of USTA Connecticut (2018- 2020). Angelo played Varsity tennis at Hamden High School en route to be a top Division I player at the University of Connecticut, where he earned a B.S. degree in Sports Science with a concentration in Sports Marketing. He won the USTA New England Sportsmanship Award in 2005. Rossetti has been appropriately appointed to the USTA National Sportsmanship Task Force in 2019.
The USTA Sportsmanship Award he received was one of the ones he most values. In 2007, he and his identical twin brother, Ettore, were ranked #1 in New England Men’s Open Doubles and top 10 in singles. Angelo is a 3X Guinness World Records™ titleholder of two different tennis titles; the Longest tennis rally and the Longest tennis volley rally. He graduated from Dale Carnegie’s course and studied to be a certified instructor. Angelo earned the 2007 USPTA Regional Teaching Pro of the Year & 2007 Open Player of the Year. He earned the National 2009 USPTA Tennis Industry Excellence Award, also for New England in 2008, as well as the National 2016 USPTA Lessons for Life Award by helping raise over $110,000 for the nonprofit organization Save the Children. Angelo has coached women’s teams and captained and played on 5.0 and Open USTA men’s teams that have all gone to nationals. His most recent certifications come in pickleball with certifications from IPTPA, USPTA pickleball, IFP Academy, PCI and PPR. He is also certified for Developing Mental Toughness and USTA High Performance. On October 10, 2021 on World Mental Health Day, Angelo and his brother Ettore set the official Guinness World Records™ title for the longest pickleball rally (6 hours & 11 minutes, rallying the ball 16,046 times without a miss, ending voluntarily after the record was set, most importantly raising over $115,000 for Save the Children. In August 2008, he and Ettore set the official Guinness World Records™ title for the Longest Tennis Rally totaling 25,944 continuous strokes, lasting 14 hours and 31 minutes. On August 8th of 2015, Angelo and his brother set their second Guinness World Records™ title for the Longest tennis volley rally, 30,576 volleys lasting 5 hours and 28 minutes. The purpose of these record-breaking athletic feats was as fundraisers for charities. Angelo has spoken regularly in the summer at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, RI, where his record is featured in the permanent exhibits. He has captained, competed, and coached at USTA Nationals five times (5.0 and Open). Rossetti has won 10 USTA Jr. Team Tennis state titles in the last 10 years as a coach. Angelo has a passion for caring and inspiring people at every age, on and off the court. He believes in something he developed; the 4 Gs: Get a Dream, Goal Set, Goal Get, and Give Back, which leads to success in tennis and in life. He loves to be inspired and to inspire someone every day.

Ettore Rossetti

Ettoré Rossetti (aka “Et”) has been a USPTA certified teaching professional for more than 25 years since 1992. He grew up in Hamden and played varsity for the Green Dragons for two seasons where he won the Scholar Athlete Award. He has taught tennis for juniors and adults in the area at venues including Oak Lane, Weston Racquet Club, Yale University, Milford Indoor Tennis, and North Haven Health & Racquet for more than two decades. He has taught with ATP Tour professionals, including Tom Gullikson, Tim Mayotte, Luke & Murphy Jensen, Malavai Washington, James Blake and Tony Trabert. A graduate from UCONN, he earned a B.S. degree in Sports Science from the School of Education with a concentration in Sports Marketing. In 2007, he and his identical twin brother, Angelo, were ranked #1 in New England Men’s Open Doubles and recognized as 2007 USTA Open Player of the Year. In 2008, he earned the 2008 USPTA Tennis Industry Excellence Award when they broke the Guinness World Records® title for the Longest Tennis Rally totaling 25,944 continuous strokes,
lasting 14 hours & 31 minutes. The record-setting tennis ball is on permanent display at the International Tennis Hall of Fame. The Rossetti Brothers set their second Guinness World Records® title for the Longest Tennis Volley Rally (30,576) on Roger Federer’s birthday on August 8, 2015. He is philanthropic and raises awareness and funds through their website http://www.RallyforCharity.org for causes they care about including Save the Children. In 2020, the brothers received Save the Children’s Stream Team Humanitarian Award. On October
10, 2021, he and his brother set their third Guinness World Records® title, this time for the Longest pickleball rally — more than 16,000 shots which took 6 hours and 11 minutes. He is also IPTPA certified pickleball instructor since 2020.

Ettore serves as Lead Advisor of technology/marketing/innovation partnerships at Save the Children, where he has been since 2004. He has practiced the trade of marketing communications for more than two decades. As a change agent and a catalyst for innovation, he pioneered many internal innovations at Save the Children including starting its digital marketing practice, social media presence, influencer marketing and its cryptophilanthropy initiative. He co-founded Save the Children’s Stream Team, a community of gamers, vloggers and content creators who stream to raise awareness and funds. He led Save the Children to be the world’s first international non-governmental organization (INGO) to accept a bitcoin donation in 2013. In 2015, he was awarded the American Marketing Association (AMA) Nonprofit Marketer of the Year for his innovative marketing initiatives. In 2013 and 2020, he shared a Webby Award Nominee and Honoree for his contributions to the charity-gaming and globalizing a social campaign. As an entrepreneur, he co-founded, with his twin brother, one of the first Internet marketing firms in 1995 serving dot com and global brands such as A Diamond Is Forever, Barnes & Noble, Gartner, Gartner, Mercedes Benz of North America and university brands such as the University of Bridgeport, UCONN and the University of New Haven. He has experience working in a university setting at the UCONN and the United States Military Academy at West Point. Ettore lives in Shelton, CT with his wife, Soumia, and with their daughter, Jasmine, and son, Adam. He volunteers as assistant tennis coach at Shelton High School.
